FEATURED MEMBER - Don Meyers and DRM Productions

I'm a local actor/film-maker (72 years young), and I've been in several
films including "40 Shades of Blue," "Walk the Line," "Rookie Bookie,"
"Streaker," "Southern Comfort," "Lovely by Surprise," "Missing Children,"
"The Garden," "The Other Way Around," "Heartstrings," "Eat," "Curbside
Confessions," "Rommel's Crossroads," "Cherry Blossom," " and "Zombiez."

I'm from Chicago originally where I attended art and drama schools and got
my art direction training at Playboy back in the 60's working with
photographers at the magazine...later I worked as an art director for the
Gillette Company and free lanced for agencies in the Chicago area...I was
always torn between art and acting but managed to balance the two careers in
the 60's and 70's. When I moved to California in the 80's I was a free lance
art director for many agencies including Universal Studios where I did
concepts and story boards for various films...I began auditioning for roles
and attending acting classes and landed some roles that kept my family and
me hopping from Hollywood to Laguna Beach...

I moved to Memphis in 1993 and I now have a design business that specializes
in art direction, photography and films.

.My mission statement is to bring good actors/writers/artists/photographers
together in a creative environment that can inspire us all to greater
heights ...

DIRECTING
I directed and wrote 4 short films called, "The Ancient One," "George and Martha," "What's Brewin' Craig?" and "Yer Anus in the A.M." which were accepted by the Memphis L'il Film Festivals, (website is: LIVE FROM MEMPHIS), in 2006 and 2007...
