FEATURED MEMBER - STARINA JOHNSON

Starina Johnson has been acting since the age of thirteen. For a brief period during college she dabbled with the idea of pursuing a "real" job, but after receiving several scholarships for acting and public speaking decided it might be more beneficial (monetarily speaking) to stick with it. Starina has also worked behind the scenes as a production coordinator for two prominent photographers which taught her such valuable acting/modeling lessons as "always find your light-even when it's the sun" and "always show up when you say you're going to-otherwise you make everyones life miserable and waste a lot of time and money"! Starina is a firm believer that art can make a difference in peoples lives, and she prides herself on professionalism and the careful craftsmanship she places into each character she develops.

Some recent film projects Starina has worked on (or is about to work on) are "Absence with Pictures", "The Friends We Leave Behind", "GameBoyz", and the Extra Ordinary Film Projects "Ought" and "$6 Man". Recent live theatre roles include Catherine in Proof, Dawn in Lobby Hero, and Goneril in King Lear. Starina has also been in several print ads for The Outer Banks and Hilton Head areas and television commercials such as Toyota and Sedation Dentistry. Starina has worked all throughout the southeast region and even as far as Ireland.
