actor/actress or anyone interested in getting into an acting career.
Many people of all ages want to get into the glamorous world of show biz but
don't know where to start. From The Street To The Silver Screen Seminars
will take you on a journey from your dreams step by step until you are
working on a set. This free seminar will cover such subjects as getting an
agent, interviews, the importance of being on time, contracts, headshots-the
actors calling card, resumes, agent fees, casting calls, auditions, scams,
casting directors-the gate keepers to Hollywood and many other subjects.
This seminar is a must for everyone interested in acting. There will be a
question and answer period. No one is too old or too young to start a career
in the world of show biz. Attending this seminar will not guarantee you
work.
Guest speaker will be Sherman Carmichael of Carmichael Entertainment, Parent
company for Carmichael Talent, Carmichael Casting, Carmichael Locations, and
Carmichael Photography.
Carmichael has been in the entertainment business for 22 years. 12 years as
a model agent, 10 years as a talent agent and 26 years as a photographer.
